ello Darlins’!

Our long awaited record (CD to you younger lads) is complete and (finally!) available at shows nowwww.  As we’ve been telling you, it started after we found a poem penned by Brian Jones of the Stones.  Since he never had, we put it to music written expressly to sound very late 60’s, and the result was amazing!  We wrote another seven tunes also meant to evoke the bands of the era (Beatles, Kinks, Stones, etc.), and wait until to feast your ears on this “beggar’s banquet”!  We’ve named it “Sunshine Daydream”, and you can own your own autographed copy when next we meet.

You’ll have plenty of chances to meet up with us this summer (you are going to the San Juan Mission show aren’t you?), and we have so many surprises in store for you.  Also, did you hear that our drummer Gary Roach (Charlie Watts?) has donated one of his drum sets to be raffled at this years’ Ocean Festival!  It has a kick drum head that has been painted by world famous surf artist Heather Ritts, and you can win this beautiful instrument/work of art by buying raffle tickets either at the Ocean Festival, or at their booth located at the foot of the pier on weekends prior to this show (July 19th).  This drum head art incorporates elements of JJF, the Stones, and the Ocean Festival, and Heather’s work is magnificent!  That’s just one of the fabulous raffle items by the way, and the funds benefit programs right here in San Clemente.

Love You Live!
